About Us
Overnewton Fire Basketball Club (OFBC) is a community-focused club built on passion, connection, and player development. Founded over a decade ago by a group of Overnewton College parents, the club began as a school-based program dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where young players could learn, compete, and enjoy basketball.
After nearly nine years operating within the college community, OFBC reached a major milestone in May 2024 by becoming Overnewton Fire Basketball Club Inc. This transition opened the club to the wider community, enabling continued growth, stronger competition at higher levels, and expanded opportunities for players—while preserving the close-knit culture that defines the club.
OFBC places a strong emphasis on grassroots skill development. The club regularly offers basketball skill camps and training opportunities, including collaborations with providers such as MIC’s Basketball Academy, to help players refine their abilities and build confidence on the court.
